An electronic notetaker does not act on your behalf. You are the person in control. She is there purely to transcribe what is being said so that you have greater participation in the meeting.
It is best to meet her a few minutes before the meeting in order to choose the best place to sit, with good lighting, and explain any particular needs you may have.
If you are asked a question at the meeting it will be typed onto the screen - you can then answer it yourself or write down the answer and the electronic notetaker will voice it for you.
She is completely impartial and is not responsible for what is said - only for transcribing it accurately.
